Duolao Wang, Ph.D.

Director of Biostatistics and Data Management


Dr. Wang is the Director of Biostatistics and Data Management for NEMA Research. He is responsible for all statistical and data services as well as pharmacokinetic and pharmacodynamic study design. He has over 20 years of clinical research experience designing, analysing, and preparing pharmacokinetic and pharmacodynamic studies and data for regulatory submissions and academic publications over a wide range of conditions including cancer, cardiovascular diseases, diabetes, neurological disorders, and viral disease. Dr. Wang provides educational and consulting services on design and statistical issues in clinical trials to various pharmaceutical companies and has participated in a number of successful FDA and EMA submissions including the FDA approvals of TAVI devices by Edwards Lifesciences. Dr. Wang holds a PhD degree in statistics and has published over 200 papers on medical, clinical, and epidemiological research as well as statistical methodologies in a variety of prestigious journals such as NEJM, Lancet and JAMA and is the author of the book “Clinical Trials: A Practical Guide to Design, Analysis and Reporting”, a definitive textbook covering the conceptual and methodological issues that occur at all stages of a clinical trial.
