Robert Taylor, Ph.D.
Dr. Taylor is the Executive Director of Operations for NEMA Research, Inc. His daily activities include clinical operations, regulatory affairs, budgetary issues, and management of various vendors. He is the PTL for the NEMA Research-FDA Safe Use Initiative Collaborative Agreement. Dr. Taylor obtained his PhD in Cellular and Molecular Biology from the Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey - Robert Wood Johnson Medical School (UMDNJ-RWJMS). He received his Bachelor of Science in Bioinformatics and Molecular Biology at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. Prior to working with NEMA Research, Inc., Dr. Taylor spent 1 year as a Postdoctoral Fellow at UMDNJ-RWJMS where his focus was on Oncology. Since his time with NEMA Research, Dr. Taylor has written and published numerous journal articles and book chapters in the areas of acute and chronic pain management as well as presented at many national and international conferences. In addition, he has been consultant for numerous pharmaceutical and investigational device companies and project manager for Phase I and II clinical trials.
